Employers in Oklahoma must conform with these state rules relating to the employment of minors.
A minor under the age of 16 in Oklahoma may not be employed in any occupation permitted by law unless the employer has an age and schooling certificate on file, procured and furnished by the minor's parents.
The age and schooling certificate is not required for the employment of children who are not residents of the state to perform in any licensed theater, motion picture theater or other place of public amusement.
